TV shows are mostly recorded live programs and covers full range from drama, suspense to comedy and documentary. Making oneself familiar with current pace of language is needed most when one learns in the class room and after coming to real life world fails to understand even a bit. This is because the class room spoken language is different than the real life spoken language and one has to make efforts to familiarize with the real life language.
